I’m Melissa Merriott, a full-time REALTOR® with Florida Tropics Realty, proudly serving buyers and sellers throughout Pasco County, Hernando County, Pinellas County, Hillsborough County, and the surrounding Tampa Bay area with Florida Tropics since November 2022
As a lifelong Tampa Bay native, I don’t just sell homes here, I grew up here. I understand the local neighborhoods, waterfront communities, school districts, new construction developments, 55+ communities, and hidden gems that make living on Florida’s Gulf Coast so special.

Before becoming a REALTOR®, I spent more than 10 years working in HUD housing and senior living, helping residents navigate housing programs while serving as an Assistant Property Manager. That experience gave me a strong understanding of contracts, housing regulations, organization, and customer service that continues to benefit my real estate clients today.
In addition to my Florida Real Estate License, I hold several professional designations, including:
